One year ago, Boingo launched the first “instant-on” Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solution for the U.S. military at Fort Carson, delivering gigabit-speed internet to military families living on base. Built for simplicity and reliability, Boingo Fiber has made it easy for residents to connect to work, school, entertainment and loved ones—with no equipment rentals, no truck rolls and no waiting on installers. As one customer put it: “So convenient!”

With no data caps, no throttling and no device limits, Boingo Fiber delivers the seamless, high-performance experience that military families deserve. The network spans more than 43 miles of underground fiber and is available to nearly 3,000 homes across Fort Carson, managed end-to-end by Boingo and supported 24/7 by our U.S.-based customer care team.

Now, we’re expanding.

Phase two of the project is underway to bring FTTH to even more family housing on base. That means more homes connected, more convenience and more support for our military families.

“This project is about more than fast internet speeds—it’s about making everyday life easier for the families who serve,” said Rebecca Gray, Boingo SVP and GM of Military. “In our first year, the response has been fantastic. Military families move often, so having instant internet that’s reliable, high-quality and budget-friendly is a game changer.”

To the Fort Carson community: thank you for a fantastic first year. We’re proud to connect you—and we’re just getting started.
