Q: Why should I register my camera at boingo.com/samsung?
A: We need your cameras MAC Address and Serial Number to activate your free 3-month Wi-Fi trial. Please note: Your 3-month free trial begins when you register your camera, not the first time you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Q: Where are the MAC Address and Serial Number on my camera?
A: First, put the camera in Shooting or Playback mode. Then, select the Wireless Network icon, and choose the Network Settings icon. Select the Next icon to scroll down to page 2/2. Finally, choose Device Information and your MAC Address and Serial Number information should be displayed. More ![]()
Q: When will my free trial Wi-Fi access begin?
A: Your Boingo free trial will begin immediately after you register. Youll have free, unlimited access to any of our Wi-Fi hotspots around the world for three months. Search our Location Directory for hotspots nearby or across the globe.
Q: What happens at the end of my free trial period?
A: If you attempt to connect to Wi-Fi after your free trial has expired, a “Trial Expiration” message will appear. To continue using Wi-Fi, simply sign up for a Boingo Mobile plan. To create an account, enter your billing information and create a username and password. Enter your new username and password into your camera and continue to enjoy unlimited access to Boingo Wi-Fi worldwide!
Q: When will my Boingo Mobile subscription access begin?
A: Your Boingo Mobile account will activate immediately after you sign up for the plan. Then, you'll have unlimited access to any of our Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide for a low, flat monthly rate. Search our Location Directory for hotspots nearby or across the globe.
Q: I already have a Boingo Mobile account. Do I still need to register?
A: Your existing Boingo Mobile account will work on your camera without registration. Simply enter your username and password into the camera.
Q: Will my free trial membership work on my other mobile devices?
A: Your free trial membership is available for use on your Samsung camera only.

Q: How do I connect to Boingo Wi-Fi with my camera?
A: Connecting to Boingo Wi-Fi is easy! From a Boingo hotspot, select the Wireless Network icon on the main screen.
Option 1: Choose Boingo on the Wireless Network screen. Select “Use Boingo Wi-Fi Here!”, and presto! You are online. More ![]()
Option 2: Select "Web" from the main menu. Then click the "AP" settings. Finally, select a Boingo hotspot or partner hotspot and presto! You are online. More ![]()

Step 2 - Click the "AP Setting" icon on the lower right.

Step 3 - Select "Boingo Hotspot" or a partner.

Option 3: Send photos via Facebook or other popular comparible app. More ![]()

Step 2 - Enter your Facebook credentials.

Step 3 - Select "Boingo Hotspot" or a partner.

Step 4 - Select "OK" when you get online. Your photo will begin transferring to your Facebook profile.

Step 5 - When the transfer is complete select "Confirm" and you'll return to shooting mode.

If youre using your paid Boingo Mobile account for the first time, please remember to enter your username and password into the camera. Simply click the Wireless Network icon and press Boingo. Select “My Boingo Account” and enter your username and password, then press “Save.” You should receive a confirmation screen, then click “OK.”
Q: Why is the “Use Boingo Wi-Fi Here!” option unavailable?
A: If you are unable to select the “Use Boingo Wi-Fi Here!” option, it means that a Boingo hotspot signal is not detected. Feel free to search our Location Directory for a list of Boingo hotspots. If this problem persists, please contact us. More ![]()
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi
Q: Why does my camera display, “Network Error”?
A: This message appears when the Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough. This could also mean that the access point is not working correctly. Please try to move closer to the Wi-Fi access point if possible.

Q: Why does my camera display, “Unregistered Camera”?
A: This simply means that you need to register your camera at boingo.com/samsung to begin your free 3-month trial in order to connect to Wi-Fi. Select “Start Your Free Boingo Trial” to register your camera.
Q: Why does my camera display, “Account Error”?
A: If this message displays on your camera, please contact us for further assistance.
Q: Why does my camera display, “Trial Expiration”?
