Boingo™ Now Available Under the Golden Arches Through Wayport

McDonald's Wi-Fi Pilot Program Enhances Wi-Fi Connectivity in SFO Bay Area

– Boingo Wireless™, the leading Wi-Fi roaming system, announced today the availability of its Wi-Fi wireless Internet access service at many McDonald's restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area, through its roaming partnership with Wayport.

"McDonald's restaurants are a great addition for Boingo™ users who are looking for Wi-Fi wherever they travel," said David Hagan, president of Boingo Wireless. "Our network has more than tripled in the last 12 months, and more locations in the Bay Area make it highly accessible for the business traveler."

Boingo's continued network expansion benefits road warriors who enjoy the benefits of high-speed wireless Internet access while on the road. Hundreds of new locations come online every quarter, at venues that are important to business travelers such as hotels, airports and other popular locations like cafes and restaurants.

The select McDonald's restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area are part of a Wi-Fi pilot program deployed by McDonald's and Wayport. Boingo and Wayport have a roaming agreement that allows Boingo users to have access to nearly 500 Wayport locations in hotels, airports and San Francisco-San Jose Area McDonald's restaurants, via Wayport?s open, neutral host network.

Boingo has similar roaming agreements with 37 network operators, and creates a seamless experience between these disparate networks through its Boingo software, which makes connecting to Wi-Fi networks point-and-click simple. Boingo software is distributed through major carriers and ISPs, and directly from Boingo at www.boingo.com.

A complete listing of current McDonald's hotspot restaurants in the Bay Area can be found at www.mcdwireless.com.
