Enabling your convention center with Boingo® Wi-Fi access is a terrific way to serve your attendees and make additional revenue. Becoming a part of the Boingo network lets you immediately offer access to thousands of Boingo users who already have the Boingo software on their laptop, Pocket PC or desktop computers. Being a Boingo partner lets your convention center offer bandwidth to booth renters and corporate clients-as well as attendees, bringing a new level of convenience, service and revenue to your facility. There are plenty of easy ways to join the Boingo Wi-Fi network for immediate value and impact.

4 valuable reasons to become a Boingo-enabled Convention Center.

  1. Incremental Connection Revenue. Boingo will pay convention centers and/or its representatives monthly for aggregate connections used by Boingo customers. This is an easy way to capture additional bandwidth revenue from attendee traffic and leverage network infrastructure costs already in place for the booth renters and show sponsors.


  2. Incremental Bounty Revenue. Boingo will pay bounties when new users sign up for Boingo subscriptions.


  3. Point-Of-Sale Marketing Materials. Boingo provides free in-venue marketing materials to promote the use of your wireless service and encourage new user sign ups. These marketing materials will include brochures, table tents, posters and stickers. (In select cases, Boingo can provide sales personnel on site to help sign-up new subscribers and complete the installation process.)


  4. Technical Support. Boingo provides an 800 number for customer and technical support-removing any cost or inconvenience to convention center staff.


How to become a Boingo-enabled convention center:

Contract one of our premiere network provider partners to deploy the network for you. By working with any one of the following companies your convention center will automatically become a Boingo network location, which will drive additional users, attendees, foot traffic and revenue to your location.

Option 3
Implement a Boingo Ready technical solution. The easiest implementation of the Boingo solution would be using an architecture that employs a Boingo Ready access control appliance for AAA, billing and network management. Boingo Ready hardware products have undergone extensive testing in Boingo’s test lab and are certified to be compatible with Boingo’s systems and software. Other WLAN systems using RADIUS for authentication can be Boingo enabled, and if you choose an alternative that is not Boingo Ready, we will be happy to provide you with our Carrier Exchange White Paper to help facilitate integration of the Boingo service.
