Boingo Wireless Launches High-Speed Wi-Fi Internet Service at Edelweiss Lodge

Fast, Seamless Connectivity Now Available for Service Members and Families at the Premier Armed Forces Recreation Center Resort in Germany

LOS ANGELES, DECEMBER 13, 2022Boingo Wireless, a leading provider of wireless solutions for the U.S. military, has deployed a property-wide Wi-Fi network at the Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) Edelweiss Lodge and Resort located in Germany’s Bavarian Alps. Boingo Wireless designed, installed, and manages the Wi-Fi network throughout the sprawling resort, including rooms, meetings spaces, spa, restaurants and more.

Located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, one of the most desirable destinations in the Bavarian Alps, Edelweiss Lodge and Resort is an affordable vacation and conference destination for U.S. Armed Forces.

Boingo Wireless connects U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps bases globally, with a full suite of products to solve connectivity challenges for an entire military installation. AFRC provides vacation opportunities exclusively to service members, their families and other authorized patrons of the defense force. At Edelweiss Lodge and Resort the Boingo Wireless service is provided through a contract with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).
