BOINGO BLANKETS METROPOLITAN TOKYO THROUGH ROAMING AGREEMENT WITH JAPANESE NETWORKING GIANT LIVEDOOR

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – May 8, 2007 – Boingo Wireless Inc., the world’s leading wholesale network aggregator and operator of neutral-host Wi-Fi networks, today announced a roaming agreement with Tokyo-based media services giant livedoor Co. Ltd., that adds the company’s Tokyo metropolitan Wi-Fi network to the Boingo® Roaming System.

With thousands of power-pole mounted access points, livedoor’s network covers 80% of the outdoor area located within the Yamanote Line, the circular train line whose route defines the boundaries of metro Tokyo. The network livedoor is building is part of its overall effort to develop Internet and financial services businesses that will allow it to grow its customer base to more than 1 million customers throughout Japan.

The agreement with livedoor marks the second Asian hot zone to join the Boingo Roaming System and is the latest installment in Boingo’s continuing effort to expand its network into the rich market of business hubs throughout China and Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia—all common destinations for business travelers.
