BOINGO RETAIL CUSTOMERS TO ENJOY MORE COVERAGE WITH EXPANDED EUROPEAN ROAMING AGREEMENT WITH THE CLOUD

Boingo® Roaming System Renews Access to The Cloud's European WiFi Network and Adds 1,500 Locations in Germany, Nordic Countries and The Netherlands

– Boingo Wireless Inc., the world's leading wholesale network aggregator and operator of neutral-host Wi-Fi networks, today announced an expansion of its partnership with The Cloud, Europe's leading neutral-host Wi-Fi network operator, to enable Boingo's retail customers, and customers of Fiberlink and Verizon Business Access, to access all European locations of The Cloud through the Boingo® Roaming System. The companies' previous roaming agreement covered only The Cloud's hotspots in the United Kingdom.

The agreement announced today gives Boingo customers access at over 8,500 The Cloud locations across Europe, including roughly 1,500 hotspots in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and The Netherlands. This includes municipal hotzones in the UK, Germany, the Nordic region and Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

The Cloud offers Wi-Fi coverage at more than 8,500 locations across the UK, Germany, the Nordics and The Netherlands with hundreds of new hotspots coming online every month. The Cloud has also recently begun deploying city wide and city zone Wi-Fi networks, including Canary Wharf, the City of London, and nine other UK cities including Manchester and Edinburgh, the City of Stuttgart in Germany and Amsterdam in The Netherlands. The Cloud's 7,000 locations throughout the UK include hotels, major train stations, almost every major airport, hundreds of cafes and thousands of pubs. In Germany, The Cloud serves over 625 locations including airports and hotels catering to business travelers. In Sweden, The Cloud provides more than 440 hotspots, including airports, train stations and McDonalds restaurants, while in Norway, The Cloud service is available at many train stations.

Boingo gives business travelers the best choice of Wi-Fi hotspots by combining over 60,000 locations from more than 140 leading Wi-Fi operators into one worldwide network. Boingo users can connect to any of these locations with a single Boingo account using Boingo's free Wi-Fi client software, which combines more than 660 network names into one "Boingo Wireless®" network to simplify identifying and connecting to commercial Wi-Fi networks.

The program provides partners with access to this network, customized client software, and a full suite of back-office billing, roaming, mediation and clearinghouse services to allow them to offer their own Wi-Fi service quickly and cost effectively. To date, the company has announced Platform Services partnerships with BT Infonet, EarthLink, Fiberlink, Helio LLC, Nextel Communications, Verizon Business, and Telecom Italia.
