BOINGO BOLSTERS HOTSPOT NETWORK IN EUROPE, ADDS SIX CONTINENTAL OPERATORS

Boingo® Roaming System Expansion in Germany, Spain, Greece and the Netherlands Includes Enhanced Coverage at Munich Airport

– Boingo Wireless, the world's leading Wi-Fi network aggregator, today announced the addition of six Wi-Fi partners to the Boingo® Roaming System in Europe, providing new Boingo hotspots in Germany, Spain, Greece and the Netherlands.

Working with GANAG (GlobalAirNet AG), Germany, Boingo now has enhanced wireless coverage at Germany's Munich International Airport, Europe's 7th busiest hub airport with more than 30 million passengers annually. Boingo now covers Terminal 1 and the 5-star Kempinski Airport Hotel. The partnership with GANAG will also mean Boingo coverage at the first hotspots in Marriott hotels on the European side of Kazakhstan.

Also in Germany, Boingo partnered with 802:WLAN, a wireless Internet service provider (WISP) with 300 hotspots, including AOL-branded kiosks at 150 locations, many in McDonald's restaurants. Boingo also added Travelping, another German-based ISP with 150 hotspots in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Boingo extended its reach in Spain by partnering with AWA, a WISP operating 600 hotspots in retail locations, cafes, marinas, restaurants and hotels including all Repsol gas stations across the country. Spain's largest Wi-Fi operator, AWA has contracts to deploy 4,000 more hotspots.

In the Netherlands and the Netherlands Antilles, Boingo teamed with Mobilander. Customers are offered access at 40 hotspots in hotels, restaurants and libraries in 6 main university cities in the Netherlands, and at 100 UTS/Mobilander-hotspots in hotels, resorts and restaurants on Curacao and St. Martin.

Boingo also buoyed its coverage in the Mediterranean region, adding FORTHnet, the largest network of wireless access spots in Greece, with more than 72 hotspots at hotels, cruise lines and 34 Starbucks locations.

"From the North Sea to the Mediterranean and from the Urals to the Atlantic Ocean, Boingo continues to blanket Europe with a comprehensive Wi-Fi network," said Luis Serrano, Director of EMEA and LATAM for Boingo. "We will continue to add hotspots to our European system so that at every port of call, business travelers will have an easy, convenient and reliable network that makes them more productive during their trip."

60,801 Reasons to Use Boingo

Boingo gives business travelers the best choice of Wi-Fi hotspots by combining over 60,000 locations from more than 140 leading Wi-Fi operators into one worldwide network. Boingo users can connect to any of these locations with a single Boingo account using Boingo's free Wi-Fi client software, which combines more than 660 network names into one "Boingo Wireless®" network to simplify identifying and connecting to commercial Wi-Fi networks.

The program provides partners with access to this network, customized client software, and a full suite of back-office billing, roaming, mediation and clearinghouse services to allow them to offer their own Wi-Fi service quickly and cost effectively.
