Make a Wish Foundation -- Donate your Miles

Summer is here and with it comes warm days, backyard BBQs, and the requisite family vacation. Maybe you'll be using miles you've accumulated from your business travel to take the family on a trip. Or maybe you'll be using those miles to send another family on a dream vacation.

You see, this summer we're partnering with the Make A Wish Foundation^® by hosting a "Miles of Smiles" campaign. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to give them hope, strength, and joy.

Because many wishes involve air travel, donating your airline miles is a great way to help seriously ill kids realize their wishes. By donating airline miles, you're helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant wishes that require an estimated 2.5 billion airline miles annually.

This summer, Boingo will donate miles for each new Boingo customer, as well as provide an easy way for you to donate miles, too.

In the coming weeks, we will send out more information about this great cause and how you can help, so please watch your inbox for our email.

Apple made two big, exciting announcements this June. First, a new operating system, iPhone OS 4.0, includes much-desired features including multi-tasking, a 5x digital camera zoom, and folders for your apps. iPhone 4 is thinner, sleeker and includes new hardware such as a 3-axis gyroscope for improved gaming, a 5 megapixel camera, HD video recording, and best of all, a front-facing video camera for video calls to other iPhone 4 devices (over Wi-Fi only)!
