Leverage the breadth of the Boingo® Roaming Network of more than hotspots to give your customers worldwide access to the broadband they crave. The unique structure and licensing model of the toolkit allows you to protect your IP by tying the code into your interfaces without any external involvement by Boingo or any other third party.

Open Source and Commercial Licenses

The Boingo Embedded Wi-Fi Toolkit can be acquired via open source license or via commercial license. Open source versions use Apache 2.0 and LGPL licensing, so any development against proprietary interfaces (Apache 2.0) doesn't require republishing while development against Boingo-specific interfaces (LGPL) should be republished to the open source community. Commercial licenses have no republishing requirements.

Get Access to More Than hotspots Around the World

To get the most from the Wi-Fi toolkit, it will need to be enabled for access to the Boingo Roaming Network. The two options are to ship it as a Boingo Mobile (retail) bundled client, or to ship it as a private-label client, which requires a separate network access agreement with Boingo Wireless.
