While doing a trail run recently I passed a group of six older folks. My best guess is that these “spry” seniors were in their early 60s and out taxing themselves with a brisk hike in the hills. It was a single track, so they moved aside to let me continue my run. As soon as I passed, I heard one of them say, “Ahhh…youth!” I was startled to hear this and quickly turned around to see who they might be referring to, only to discover it was me.

It’s a  powerful Wi-Fi tool that helps you locate free and Boingo hotspots at thousands of locations around the globe. If you have a paid Boingo account, Wi-Finder connects you at 325,000 Boingo global locations — all with just one tap of a button. Here’s a feature summary of Boingo Wi-Finder for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch: Location-mapping that displays hotspots nearby or at another destination through search. Blue pins represent free locations, and red pins present Boingo locations. Hotspot notification when a Boingo hotspot is detected (note: in order to see this notification, Wi-Fi must be turned on and Wi-Finder must be launched). Crowdsource platform that tracks success and speed of connects, so good open networks can be re-published to the Boingo Location Directory. So the more feedback you send us, the more data we have.
