October is one of my favorite months with the Exceeding Expectations kids.  As you all know, our top priority for the kids is, and always will be, education. That said, every October we participate in two athletic events that I feel are significant in laying the groundwork necessary for them to be successful in the academic world and in their adult lives.  The first of these events is the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) triathlon, aptly called “The Best Day in Triathlon.” Here’s a brief overview from their website:  “In 1994, three friends started a triathlon fundraiser to help one man regain his independence after a tragic accident left him a quadriplegic. From one came many, and Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) took root in the belief that sports and an active lifestyle are a pathway to more in life. Tips For Using Boingo Wi-Finder on Apple iOS Devices

New Boingo-Enabled Samsung SH100 Available in March 2011


The increasing stream of Boingo-enabled devices continues, as Samsung launches the new SH100 digital camera. The Samsung SH100, just like the ST5500/CL80 we reviewed back in June, comes with three months of Boingo Mobile so you can connect to more than 200,000 Boingo hotspots — directly from the camera. Another exciting feature is the ability to remotely control some features, e.g., zoom and shutter, with a connected Android smartphone. Other specs include: 14.2 Megapixels 3.0″ LCD Screen 5x Optical Zoom 26mm Wide Angle Schneider Lens Wifi / DLNA (AllShare) According to Samsung’s press release, the SH100 will be available in March for the bargain price of $199.
