Check out the tech deals that caught our eye for Thursday, 1/20/11. We haven’t tried any of these products firsthand, but if you have, please fill us in on your assessment. Panasonic TA-1 Ultrathin HD Video Camcorder for $89 through Amazon (list price: $169.95): We love that this HD camcorder is small enough to fit in your pocket, gives you the option of taking decent resolution photos (8MP), and converts into a Skype webcam for VoIP calls. Amazon users, whose ratings for this device average four out of five stars, mention the product takes high-quality video and is easy to use but recommend the purchase of a memory card.
