University of Houston Cougars Football Fans Get Connected with Boingo

What makes the perfect game day companion? Increasingly, sports fans are clamoring for a high quality wireless connection at the game to stay connected, check scores on other games, see how their fantasy football teams are performing, or just share a game day selfie on their favorite social networking site.

Boingo keeps sports fans connected at major league stadiums including Chicago’s Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, and universities such as Pinnacle Bank Arena, home of the University of Nebraska Huskers basketball teams. And just in time for the first game of the season for the University of Houston Cougars, and the first game ever at the brand new TDECU Stadium, Boingo launched its fast, free Wi-Fi service in high traffic areas like the concessions, ticketing, suites and the press boxes.

The TDECU Stadium network boasts a state-of-the-art Boingo Wi-Fi network, designed to ensure that fans and staff alike will enjoy access to a reliable connection. Along with providing Wi-Fi access to fans, Boingo’s network at TDECU stadium also supports stadium ticketing, point-of-sale, and concession systems and employees.

The stadium’s crown jewel is a scenic view of the Houston skyline, which creates ample opportunity for fans to snap pictures and share them with family and friends using the stadium’s Wi-Fi connection.  Whether it’s gameday pictures with fellow fans or live tweeting the play-by-play, Boingo ensures attendees are covered at TDECU stadium.

GO COUGARS! We look forward to seeing all the touchdowns and triumphant plays online!
