His interactive session focused on a key theme: consumers are relying on mobile devices more than ever to conduct in-store research before they buy. Instead of fearing smartphone-toting shoppers, Joe showed his audience how to embrace and engage showroomers by using mobile to bridge the digital and physical worlds.

According to Joe, half the battle is getting them into your store. In fact, offering guest Wi-Fi is like rolling out a digital red carpet to welcome shoppers to your store. If you can empower them with information and put the consumer first, that shopper is yours to lose!
