Tech Thursday Deals – 4/7/2011

  • If you’re in the market for a desktop computer, check out the Dell OptiPlex GX520 for $249.99 via 1saleaday (list price: $1199.99). Specs include: 3.0GHz processor, 2GB DDR2 DRAM & 640GB hard drive. The computer comes with a 17″ LCD Monitor, Windows XP Professional, keyboard and optical mouse. Buy within eight hours as of the time of this writing. (Via 1saleaday)
  • Get the new Xbox 360 4GB Console for $199 via Amazon and receive a $50 credit towards a future purchase (spend it on games, perhaps?). The new Xbox gets an average rating of four stars out of five (182 total reviews), with customers proclaiming it the “best Xbox so far.” Specs include: built-in Wi-Fi, specialized port for connectivity to Kinect Sensor, five USB ports, Ethernet port, HDMI output, and optical audio out port.  The price includes: wireless controller, one-month Xbox LIVE Gold membership, and 1 year limited warranty on console. Need another reason to be excited? Free shipping! (Via Gadgetreview)
  • One of our favorite online retailer of bags, eBags, is having a 20% off sale on Timbuk2 merchandise. Check out the great selection of iPad and eReader Cases, laptop bags, and laptop sleeves. We dig the gray and red laptop bag pictured on the right because it’s endowed with Boingo colors :). Free shipping is included. The deal expires 4/10/2011. (via eBags)
  • Running out of smartphone juice is never any fun, and most wireless chargers come with a hefty price tag. But ThinkGeek is currently offering the AirVolt wireless charger for only $19.99 (list price: $49.99). The AirVolt wirelessly re-powers your iPhone via induction and apparently “works just as quickly as a standard charger.” The only small caveat is that an adapter ($4.99) is required to work with the iPhone 4; otherwise, the charger works out of the box for the iPhone 3G/3GS.
